The EU Chemicals Ordinance REACH that came into force on June 1, 2007, pursues the goal of saving people and the environment by completely detecting all chemical substances contained in products. The new ordinance aims at broadening the industry’s and the producer’s responsibility for all goods either produced in or imported into the EU.
